Eat Local Always

About

Eat Local Always began as a month-long campaign in August, and in 2023, we expanded it to a seasonal initiative to connect businesses in Boston and the broader New England local food community. In February, May, August, and November, we highlight local food or food-related businesses to make sure their story is being shared. In the last year, we’ve connected over 150 businesses ranging from farmers, farmers markets, event spaces, non-profits, libraries, restaurants, fisheries, and more to promote and support our local food system. Our goal is to make our social media platform a resource for community members to discover local food options and learn how to support local businesses (like yours!). You can see examples of past collaborations on our Instagram and Facebook, @bostonlocalfood.

Eat Local Always is a fantastic opportunity to eat local at your favorite restaurant, learn where your food comes from, shop at a farmers' market, join a CSA and be involved in supporting and strengthening our local food systems. Follow us on Instagram @bostonlocalfood to have up-to-date information about who we are partnering with and where to find the best local eats.

If Eat Local Always sounds like a good fit for your business or government agency and you want to collaborate, please email our Local Food Program Coordinator, Gabrielle at gabrielle@sbnmass.org.

Thank you to our November 2024 collaborators:
